Book Review: Mary Jane's Ideabook

I've been reading this book for a few days now, and can't put it down!! Its filled with beautiful glossy photos of country life, how she grew up, recipes, stories, sewing projects..everything!
We're currently subscribed to her magazine, and she does a beautiful job! I'm inspired by her drive for organic gardening, "real farm-girls wear aprons" attitude, and simple living. Here's a few videos to find out what she's about!

Dear Mia,

I have this book and her Stitching Room book, too. (You would love it!) They are both so beautiful! I also subscribe to her magazine and enjoy it. We garden and eat all organic so I am thankful that she is so passionate about that. A dear friend made an apron for me from one of MaryJane's patterns for a Christmas gift. It is so pretty!
Have a blessed day!
Love, Paula

What a neat book, Mia!
I watched one of the videos and was impressed with her out look on organic farming and I just loved her passion for aprons! ;) Her Stitching Room book also quite intrigued me. Thanks for informing me about her and her books!

Your sister-in-Christ,
Miss Jen

Oh yes! That book is very inspirational! I hope to make the lantern out of tomato cages sometime. We aren't subscribed to her magazine, but with how wonderful her book is I am assuming they are quite nice! Maybe we can have our library subscribe to it! :D

Hi I like your blog. You ever read the books by the Delaney sisters? When I looked at your blog I instantly thought of these books. They are African american ladies, daughters of a episcopal pastor. They had interesting lives and come from a large family. http://www.amazon.com/Having-Our-Say-Delany-Sisters/dp/0385312520?ie=UTF8&tag=mustard0d-20&link_code=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969
