Finished Crocheted project

Although I only helped crochet the easy parts (hehe) my sister did the majority of it! The beret was crocheted quickly(in 1 day) and I've enjoyed wearing it. When we go bike riding, I wear it as a "snood" so my hair isn't exposed to the wind!
Puff Slouchy Hat (beret)

From the back...
It looks slightly different from the original pattern because of the material/hook size

Now that we're familiar with the pattern, we'll make adjustments to the next few!
I really appreciate your comments/suggestions/questions at my last update, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming posts, especially answering a few questions! Please continue to stop by :)

Hello Mia! I haven't been on here in a little while, some thing going on here. ;) I LOOOOVE the beret! It turned out fantastic! You and your sister did a great job! :D Love that style too!

Yeah, sizing can be tricky, I crochet as well. ;) I made a hat that was FAR to big a few years ago, before I got more experienced at my crocheting. :) It looked pretty funny. Lol!

It looks so nice. The color looks absolutely gorgeous with your hair. I wish I could make one myself, I haven't learned to crochet yet.

I had never much cared for berets before, but you have changed my mind! Yours is stunning! I think I like it even better than the original pattern ~ almost lacy and delicate. And the way you're wearing it is perfect!

I love the beret. Can you post a video on how to make one? Do you upload to You tube? I love the style!

Oh i love it, So cute! Me and my god mother have been talking about wearing those at the restaraunt our family is starting up soon. We were just going to buy some but what a money saver to be able to make them. . . but I have gotten around to learning how to crochet or knit. . . it's on my list though ;) Any suggestions on how to get started? ? ?

One more thing, it looks like you have the same texture hair is me. Do you do anything for frizziness? Or to calm to curl so they will lay flatter? Just wondering! I am really starting to get more natural with my hair ( I have used relaxers forever) So just wondering! Thanks sis.

God bless you!
