I'd like to hear from you!

Dear Readers,
I'd like to get your opinion on what type of posts you're interested to see in the future! I do this every once in a while :) So if you've ever thought, "I wish Mia would post about _______" Here's an opportunity for me to try and incorporate a few fun questions, facts, topics etc. on anything!
For example, my Mother has been mentioning if I'd incorporate more homemaking posts, which I'll be doing soon!
Ideas/Posts on:
*My attire or hair care/styles
*Encouragement for stay at home daughters
*More about my family or extended family
*My thoughts on youth today
*Reviews on dvd's/books
*(Or just any random question!)

Please leave a comment (come out of lurking! lol)
I love hearing from you!

I love you blog. I would really like to see more posts about homemaking. I really liked your post on planning meals. I'd also like to hear about being a stay-at-home daughter. I'm in college because my parents think I have to and don't realize that there are many intelligent, accomplished girls who stay at home, like you. Thanks,
Stephanie Ann

I love hearing about you and your sister. My sister and I love each other very much, but don't always find ways to show it. Reading about your interactions are always encouraging.

I love your posts. I'd love to see more pictures of the cottage inside and out. Also, didn't you say you work out of the home? What do you do? I also think more encouragement for daughters in waiting, SAHD's would be well suited. It was such a difficult time in my life (between high school and marriage) that I needed encouragement and Godly direction.

Hello Mia,
I'm a lurker, ever since Rhonda Jean at Down-to-Earth linked to you. I encourage my 12 year old daughter to read as well. I think you are a very special young lady, and your blog is delightful!
Anything you post is interesting, and the photos - oh my word...just lovely. I would especially relish any posts concerning stay-at-home-daughters. This is a fairly new concept to me, and something I wouldn't mind happening for my daughter, who I already homeschool. Thankyouy again for your blog,

First of all, let me say how much I enjoy reading your blog. You always have wonderful words and beautiful pictures.

I'd be interested in reading your thoughts on attire and behavior of Christian ladies. Plus any sewing or craft projects.

Mia, as you know, i think all your posts are lovely.:) I think all the topics suggested by you, are all great ones. I think God is slowly leading you into your calling, and to encourage the many younger women who read this blog. I am encouraged by your stand, and will be teaching many things to my daughter similar to what you are encouraging others to do, or sharing with them.
As always, your friend,

I enjoy your posts very much. I am a mother and wife and have a question more along the lines of how your mother raised you? Your a darling girl seeking modesty and purity. What most influenced you? Was it that your mother was a moderate kind woman with obvious standards? or was it a teaching you recieved formally or both that really guided you?
I have 2 daughters and I hope and pray for them to grow up and live modestly for the Lord, but I was not raised christian and often don't know what will be effective.

Hey Mia,
I would enjoy more posts on you walk with God, your views on what Godly young women should be like, youth people things like that. Your post are always interesting though!

Rhonda Jean said...

Dear Mia, they your other readers I enjoy most of your posts, but you asked for suggestions so here are mine:

* What is your daily routine on a "normal" day.

* I'd love to see more of your aprons. Do you have a favourite pattern?

* What are your hopes for your near future? Say the next ten years.

I really enjoy your photos, so more of your kitchen and less personal areas of your home would be lovely.

Thank you for sharing your life with us. I enjoy your blog very much.

Hi Mia, yes I would love to see more of what you wear daily as I am also a young lady who wants to honor Christ in this and still be feminine. So I would love to see your hair styles and clothing choices. I absolutly love your civil war clothing as I am a civil war reenactor as well. My family started doing this togeather one year ago this month. Its wonderful to do it togeather.

Yes I would love to hear more about your family and what you are doing to help your family as a stay at home daughtar as I am also one as well. And homemaking skills would be great too. Goodness thats a lot! I really want to have a blog soon and I want mine to also honor Him, so thanks for the encouragement in your blog.

I totally adore your blog. It is a MUST read for me!!
You have been very inspiring, comforting, and such a blessing.
I am a stay at home, homeschool mom, and I really appreciate your attitude and your views.

I would love to read some more posts on modesty, and of course on baking/cooking... and just in general your way of life, and as always, anything about homeschooling.
Love all of the photos/pics you include in your posts.

Awesome job Mia.

Mia, I LOVE your blog!!! I am an middle age woman, with five children. I love all things old-fashioned, although we have not been able to pursue this as much as I would have chosen due to a number of circumstances. Nonetheless, we homeschool, bake bread, love to cook from scratch when possible, sew, knit/crochet, quilt, etc. I also started hope chests for each of my 3 daughters, and gave my adult sons legacy chests when they were younger, which they still have....theirs included things like childhood toys, tools, books, etc. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your blog is a blessing and an encouragement. May God continue to bless you as you grow in Him.
