Meeting a friend for the first time!
It's amazing that through this blog, it's connecting so many who are of like-mind. As we all engaged in fellowship, I had a delightful time hearing the different stories of everyday life...we had many laughs!

"And all of this world, is for children who play
Days that never end always should remain
Another perfect day"
--'Perfect Day' lyrics from the Tales of Beatrix Potter

The simplicity of the picnic made the day so memorable. Nothing was structurally planned, which allowed for sweet fellowship & getting to know each other better. I'm so thankful for all the families who attended and made it special!

you need to write a big beautiful coffee table book....your words and photo's are just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!smiles, Linda
Yes it seems you all had a lovely time and I wish I could have been there! Maybe some day! :) I love seeing all the edwardian clothing, I have always wanted to sew up edwardian clothing someday. RIght now colonial, civil war, and regency are in my closet and all over my room. With recreating three different periods with our living history its hard to add any more. But do wear my edwardian walking skirt quite often. I really would love to sew up a vest and blouse to go with it that is also the period. Maybe this winter?!
I love it Mia and again yes I would love to meet you someday. Lord willing we will be able to do a living history event or maybe just get together someday. God bless!
In Christ,
Rebecca
my dear Mia, After seeing the photo make me feel sad I missed it. I wanted so much to come and meet your family and friends. It would have been a long trip and I would have to find sleep over arrangement. I will definitely attend next year, if God permits.Take dear lady and enjoy the rest of the Fall!

Hi Mia- your pictures are so beautiful and the picnic looks so lovely. Everything looks perfect, Mia. I love how you served everything on real china instead of paper plates--beautiful and environmentally friendly! You are such an inspiration to me!
